Michelle Obama visited Christ Church, Oxford, on Wednesday May 25th. In the Great Hall she addressed students from the University of Oxford and pupils from the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson language college in Islington, and answered their questions. She spoke passionately about the importance of having high aspirations and encouraged them to work hard and to aim for the best in all they do. It was the third time America's First Lady had met students from the school, who were also experiencing mentor sessions with Oxford students during their day. Along with many others, I had the chance to photograph the events of the day.
