Visiting the Saakshar schools for slum children in Delhi in January 2011, I spent an afternoon in lively Old Delhi, attending a family puja at a 400 year old Krishna temple. These are some pictures from that afternoon, a quick excursion to Daryaganj near Old Delhi to buy books, and some streets scenes from the area where Saakshar works in SW Delhi.
